After the first snow of the winter on Tuesday, it decided to start again last night.

Not quite as much as before, but still enough to give things a covering.

The gate was nicely frozen shut by the morning. Needed a bit of effort to get it open.

But not quite as much snow as I expected when I got to school.....


Still, nice to have some fall twice in the same week.

I'll have my cake, and eat it too.

Turns out I couldn't choose. Oh well. Happy Birthday to me.



Ordered on Sunday (with a discount code, so free shipping) and turned up this morning. Got pinged for duty but only the measly sum of 1300 yen. Sweet!

Visited the Uras stand while at Autosalon the other week and picked up a sticker for Kanako. Nomuken is famous for his chihuahua characters and I thought this one bore a nice resemblance to Nini (even though he's not a chihuahua!).

The path to enlightenment. Or maybe just the front door.

One of my 'projects' for the winter break was the realignment of the front path. It now heads more to the middle of the gate so it's a bit easier to get the bikes in. Plus it looks a lot nicer than the muddy weed infested mess it was before.
